The class is for the beginning photo person, or a refresher to get started again, to learn the basics of your digital single reflex or mirrorless camera. Class will provide instruction about the operating use of the camera, menus, and camera functions.
Also covered will be strategies for shooting various types of subjects, such as people, things and landscape. Cameras will not be provided so please bring your DSLR or Mirrorless camera to class, any model, and be sure to charge the battery.
This class is offered each quarter of the year. Only the current class can be reserved.

"Going All Manual" Intermediate Photography class. This class is for the amateur photographer to take the next step of moving away from the automatic camera modes and start using their digital SLR or mirrorless in the manual modes. The Canon Intermediate Class is a two part class, part one Class 201 Saturday 9:30am to 12:30pm and part two Class 202 Sunday Noon to 3pm FREE

If you're a more experienced SLR user, the two-hour session is your ticket to learning about the more sophisticated features of your EOS camera. We'll take you to the next step in crafting great photographs, with details about the advanced controls in your camera and how to use them in real-life situations.
Many examples of great images bring the camera's features to life in this event. We'll demystify your camera's histogram, give details about lighting and exposure control, and show the power that the right lenses and EOS Speedlites can bring to your photography.
